From mild relaxation to full unconscious sedation, we match every patient to the option that best fits their anxiety level, medical history, and the procedure at hand.

Level 1: Mild
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Gentle relaxation that wears off in minutes
Nitrous oxide is a colorless, odorless gas administered through a small mask placed over your nose. Within a few minutes you'll feel pleasantly relaxed, warm, and sometimes mildly euphoric, while remaining fully awake and able to respond to your dentist.
- Works in 2–3 minutes
- Fully wears off within minutes of removal
- Most patients can drive themselves home
- Safe for children ages 3 and older
- Ideal for routine cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- No needles required
Best for: Mild dental anxiety, sensitive patients, routine cleanings, fillings, simple extractions, children ages 3+

Level 2: Moderate
Oral Conscious Sedation
A single pill for deep, worry-free relaxation
Oral conscious sedation involves taking a prescribed sedative medication approximately one hour before your appointment. By the time you're in the chair, you'll be in a deeply relaxed, drowsy state. You can still respond to instructions but will feel detached from the procedure, and most patients remember little or nothing afterward.
- No IV or injections
- Deep relaxation with minimal memory of the procedure
- Allows multiple treatments in a single visit
- Reduces gag reflex significantly
- Excellent for moderate-to-severe anxiety
- Pre-procedure health screening included
Best for: Moderate–severe dental anxiety or phobia, sensitive gag reflex, multiple procedures in one visit, adults who are scared of the dentist
Note: You will need a trusted adult to drive you home and stay with you for 24 hours.

Level 3: Deep
IV Sedation (Sleep Dentistry)
The closest thing to sleeping through your dental work
You won't be technically unconscious, but most patients describe it as feeling exactly like they slept through the visit, with little to no memory afterward. Given through a small IV in your arm, with numbing cream applied first so the stick is barely noticeable.
Worried about needles? Tell us before your appointment. The IV setup takes about 60 seconds and most patients say it was much easier than they expected.
- Works within seconds of placement
- Most patients have little to no memory of the procedure
- Dose adjusted continuously throughout treatment
- Oxygen and heart rate monitored the entire time
- Ideal for complex, lengthy, or anxiety-heavy procedures
- Often called "sleep dentistry" by patients who've had it
Best for: Severe dental anxiety or phobia, tooth extractions, root canals, dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, multiple procedures in one appointment
Note: A responsible adult must drive you home and stay with you for 24 hours after.

Level 4: Full
General Anesthesia (Fully Asleep)
Completely asleep, the same as for a hospital surgery
The only sedation level where you are completely asleep. Used for patients with severe special needs, extreme phobia, or medical conditions that prevent lighter sedation. Administered and monitored by a licensed anesthesia provider.
- Complete unconsciousness throughout procedure
- No awareness or memory of treatment
- Suitable for patients with special needs or disabilities
- Allows extensive dental work in a single session
- Administered and monitored by qualified clinicians
- Comprehensive pre-operative evaluation required
Best for: Special needs patients, extreme phobia, very young children requiring extensive work
